We are taking pride in providing high quality, personalized international matchmaking services for single Japanese ladies and single Western men.

Since 1991, DMA has specialized in introducing well qualified Western gentlemen who wish to meet and marry Japanese ladies to sophisticated Japanese ladies who are interested in meeting Western gentlemen. 

Within the last few decades, Japan has become a top economic superpower and, as a result, there are now many Western men living and working in Japan.  On the other hand, many Japanese women are also going abroad for the purposes of work, schooling or travel.  A natural result of this cultural interaction is that the interest in international marriages has increased greatly.  Surprisingly, though, until DMA was founded in May 1991 in the sophisticated Minami Aoyama section of Tokyo, there were no international matchmaking services in Japan that specialized in arranged personal introductions for Western gentlemen and Japanese ladies by Japanese go-between, not matchmaking by the catalog service.

DMA members are personally introduced to potential partners in Tokyo by the recommendation of Fumiharu Yoshimura, the president of DMA.

In the 7 years since its establishment, DMA has focused on introducing Western men living in the greater metropolitan Tokyo area to Japanese ladies wishing to meet western gentlemen.  After that we have also seen a marked increase in the number of Western men living abroad who visit Japan for one or more weeks for the express purpose of meeting with Japanese ladies who are members of DMA.

To qualify for DMA membership, gentlemen must be from the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia or Western European countries, be honest, have a legal working visa if they are living in Japan and be earnest about wanting to meet and marry a Japanese lady.  Most of the gentlemen selected for membership also tend to have superior educational backgrounds and careers.  Likewise, Japanese ladies who are members of our service are earnest and serious in their desire to meet and marry Western gentlemen.  In addition to having above-average scholastic backgrounds and careers, our female members are also selected for their physical beauty. When they found a good spouse in outside of Japan, they are willing to move abroad.

DMA spends a great deal of time in one-on-one interviews and discussions with potential applicants and also provides extensive advice and counseling once a person becomes a member.  This personal attention and dedication has led to over 160 international marriages to date.
