Membership Information & Agreement Form
Statement of Purpose
Dandies International (hereinafter referred to as DI) is an organization whose purpose is to supply its members with information that will help introduce single Western men and single Japanese women to each other in a healthy atmosphere of correspondence, possibly leading to marriage.
Eligibility Requirements
The applicant should be a well-principled person and must currently be single, i.e. unmarried.
Membership Conditions
The applicant should be in sound physical and mental health and should be a moral person living a normal existence in society and having the personal capacity to take on the responsibilities of marriage.
Membership Fee
There is a US$100 one-time membership fee for male members. Memberships are presently being offered absolutely FREE, however, for men accepted for membership by DI.
Membership Duration
The membership term is two (2) years, with the following conditions: The membership in DI will continue only as long as the above Eligibility Requirements and Membership Conditions are met, during which a member's profile will remain active and in circulation. At the conclusion of the membership term, one may reapply for DI membership, but the membership fee must once again be paid and an updated member profile must be submitted.
1. All information provided must be factual and all documentation supplied to DI must be authentic.
2. Some editing of your personal profile by DI may be necessary.
3. If your contact information changes for any reason and differs from what you wrote in the application profile, please inform DI of the changes in writing by letter or e-mail. We cannot accept changes based on verbal information.
4. Your intentions for joining DI must be socially ethical and moral, and each member must show respect for his potential partner.
5. The sole purpose of DI is to develop relationships through correspondence with the possibility of marriage; you should not join this organization with any other motivations.
6. All personal information learned during the course of correspondence or as a result of a relationship must be held as confidential and this knowledge must not be transferred to any other person by any manner unless you have obtained the express permission of the partner involved.
7. DI is not responsible for forwarding or returning any documentation that you provide to us, including photographs.
8. If you no longer desire to continue as a member of DI, please indicate this desire in writing by letter, e-mail or fax, not verbally. If you and a partner mutually agree to become engaged or married, your membership will be discontinued at that time. Otherwise, your profile will remain active and in circulation for the entire membership period, i.e. for two (2) years after its initial distribution.
9. DI will do its best to introduce its male members to potentially compatible partners through our matchmaking system, but we cannot guarantee the number of correspondences you will receive the ultimate results. The membership fee will not be refunded for any reason.
10. DI assumes no liability for any events which may occur after two members have been introduced via the profile. Individual members are completely responsible for their own behavior.
11. If legal disputes of any kind should arise between DI and a member or members, all parties agree to submit the dispute to a mutually agreeable, neutral third party for mediation and settlement.
12. Anything not included in the guidelines listed above should be treated with common sense and with a feeling of sincerity, goodwill and consideration towards a potential partner.
I have read, fully understand and will abide by all the Membership Agreement Guidelines as stated above. My signature verifies that I meet the conditions and eligibility requirements (i.e. unmarried status) for membership, and confirms my desire to become a member of Dandies International.
